Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.  We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe in the Deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.  We believe that salvation of lost and sinful man, through regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.  We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Stand on Human Sexuality

  1. We believe that God has commanded that all intimate sexual activity be solely and exclusively within a marriage between one man and one woman. We believe that any form of sexual immorality including but not limited to homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance. (Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5, 13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1: 26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1- 8; Heb. 13:4)
  2. We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23)
